The Macau Grand Prix Committee held a poster designs competition to celebrate the 49th Macao Grand Prix.

For 48 years, the Macau Grand Prix has been a yearly spectacular that put Macao in the spotlight of international media and motor fans, and has been the stepping stone for numerous renowned drivers into the hall of fame.

In the past 48 years, many local residents have fulfilled their needs for speed by participating in the races and even more by simply watching the racers competing for the trophies.

However, another option is opened for the residents of Macao to participate in coming 49th Macau Grand Prix - by injecting their imagination into the promotional posters for the much-celebrated event.

The 49th Macau Grand Prix Poster Design Competition comprise of two categories: the Motorcycle Grand Prix and Formula 3 Grand Prix, interested parties may submit their works not later than 21 May 2002.

Application form can be obtained in the following places: Macau Grand Prix Committee, Macau Government Tourist Office(MGTO), China-Macau Autosports Club and the MGTO reception desks in Macao International Airport, Macao Jetfoil Terminal, Saint Paul Ruins and Guia Lighthouse.
