The 2^nd Phase of Consumption Subsidy Scheme was introduced in July 2020 and the deadline for collecting the consumption subsidy is 14^th December 2020. Citizens who did not hold the electronic consumption card of 1^st phase and are lodging their first-time, renewal or replacement application for resident identity card during the collection period of the consumption subsidy have to submit all required documents and complete the formalities on or before 7^th December 2020. Extra fees for expediting the formalities may be incurred, so as to ensure the issuance of the resident identity card on or before 14^th December 2020 for the applicants to collect the consumption subsidy of 2^nd phase.

In case of collection on behalf of beneficiaries, please refer to the website of the Consumption Subsidy Scheme for relevant formalities ( https://www.economia.gov.mo/consumo/zh_TW/reg_info.jsp ).

For holders of expired non-permanent resident identity card who are subject to residence authorization, even though they have an electronic consumption card in hand, they still have to complete formalities for identity card renewal and obtain a new identity card within the above-mentioned period, so that they can top up their electronic consumption card at designated locations of the Economic Bureau on or before 14^th December 2020.
