The Chief Executive, Mr Edmund Ho Hau Wah, has sent his message of congratulation to the State Council for China’s successful launch and return of Shenzhou VII spacecraft and the maiden spacewalk by a Chinese astronaut.

Mr Ho said that the successful mission had turned a new page in the history of China’s exploration of space.

He congratulated the three astronauts, Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng, and experts, technicians, staff and officers involved in the project, and he wished for further development of China on all fronts.
