The Mainland and Macao Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) will be signed at 17 Oct 2003, in the presence of a state leader.

The Secretary of Economy and Finance, Francis Tam and the Vice-Minister of Commerce, An Min will sign the arrangement on behalf of the Macao SAR Government and the Central Government respectively.

The state leader will pay a brief visit to the Macao SAR after hosting the signing ceremony.
