The Secretary for Social Affairs and Cultures, Chui Sai On is will be heading a delegation to participate the 32 session of the Unesco General Conference taking place in Paris.
Scheduled to depart from Macao on 27 September, Mr. Chui and the delegation will participate the conference during which drafts of the organization’s budget and a number of projects and plans will be discuss and approved.
During their stay in Paris, Mr. Chui and the delegation will also meet the Minister of Education, Zhou Ji, who heads the China Delegation. They are expected to discuss the preparation for the application for World Cultural Heritage Listing of Macao’s architectures.
After Paris, Mr. Chui and some members of the delegation will go to Yokohama, Japan to attend the Japan Association of Tourist Agents (JATA) World Congress and Travel Fair 2003.
