The staffs of Health Bureau today (20 April) continue to take body temperature of arrivals at the three main check points of Macao, over 7,000 people have had their temperature taken.
According to the press release, more then 3,000 people have had their temperature measured at the Border Gate, while over 3,800 and over 500 have had their temperature taken at the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and the Macau International Airport respectively.
The press release also indicated that no SARS case or suspected case was found in the check points from midnight up to 17:00 today although three inquiries were answered at the consultation posts in the 24 hours prior to 17:00.
No SARS cases were recognized in Macao up to this point. The press release confirmed.
Preventive measures against SARS in the three main check points were stepped up during the four-day Easter Holiday when more visitors were expected to come to Macao, aiming at greater protection for the public from SARS.
