CPPCC Chairman praised Macao’s development in tourism

CPPCC Chairman Li Ruihuan today (9 Jan.) praised the good development of Macao's tourism and said that the SAR's orientation is clear.

Accompanied by the Chief Executive, Edmund Ho and the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the MASR, Bai Zhijian, Li Ruihuan today visited several tourist spots in Macao including the Ruins of St Paul’s and the Museum of Sacred Art behind it, the Fortress hill and the Museum of Macau.

In respond to a question about the SAR’s orientation, Li Ruihuan said:”I think it (the orientation of Macao SAR) is clear, but it is up to you to comment ”.

Talking about his impression on Macao, Li Ruihuan said that Macao is Beautiful, adding that his is most impressed that the public of Macao supports the Chief Executive, and the Chief Executive loved the public.

Li Ruihuan later went to the islands to visit the Hac Sa Beach on the Coloane Island and the Taipa House Museum on the Taipa Island.

In the afternoon, Li Ruihuan met with the MSAR members of the CPPCC in the company of the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the MASR, Bai Zhijian.

Li Ruihuan will depart for Beijing tomorrow morning (10 Jan).
