The Municipal Affairs Bureau attaches great importance to playgrounds for children and other recreational facilities. Hence it is constantly carrying out improvement work at park facilities, to enhance the overall quality of leisure areas and children's play areas.

Due to the popularity of the Guia Hill Municipal Park, facilities there had displayed signs of wear and tear. Overall improvement work to the recreation square has been completed recently, and the areas concerned already reopened for public.
