The Islands Healthcare Complex – Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (hereinafter referred to as “Macao Union Medical Center”) is approaching its 2nd anniversary. To further enhance the public’s understanding of its signature medical services and cutting-edge equipment, the Macao Union Medical Center will hold the “2nd Anniversary Celebration of the Macao Union Medical Center and Public Open Day” on 5 September (Saturday) from 10:00 to 16:00, featuring hospital tours, health consultations, health lectures and interactive experiences. Beautiful, limited-edition souvenirs will be distributed on-site. Everyone is welcome to participate in the event.
The open day event features hospital tours, with a highlighted visit to the International Medical Centre, where medical professionals will introduce the international medical services, including health management and medical aesthetics. During the event, health consultations will be available, with specialists from 18 disciplines, including dietetics, otolaryngology, obstetrics and gynecology, rehabilitation, and rheumatology and immunology. These specialists will offer individualized medical and health consultation services. Interested participants can get tickets on-site on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event.
In addition, as part of the “Healthy Macao” Initiative to popularize health knowledge, 5 health lectures will be conducted on topics such as nutrition, general surgery and women’s health. As the lectures have limited spots, interested participants are encouraged to scan the QR code on the poster for more details and register in advance. A small number of spots will also be available on-site.
To facilitate public participation, the Macao Union Medical Center will arrange three free shuttle bus routes, running in a loop between the medical institution, the central district and the northern district of the Macao Peninsula, and Taipa. These buses will commence operation from 9:30 to 17:00 on the open day. Participants may also travel to the medical institution independently (Address: Lobby, 1st Floor, General Hospital Building, Macao Union Medical Center).
