The 5th edition of the course Summer in Portuguese at MPI starts on Wednesday, 11 July.

It is a teacher-training course for those teaching Portuguese in Mainland China that has been organized by the Portuguese Language Teaching and Research Centre (CPCLP) at MPI since 2014.

Over the years, the course has had the participation of large numbers of Portuguese Language teachers in Chinese universities. This year, 24 teachers from 17 different universities in Mainland China will attend the course. Almost all participants are Chinese.

The course takes place between 11 and 20 July and it has a total duration of 75 hours (45 hours of training in class plus 30 hours of participant’s individual work).

The novelty of this year’s edition is the fact that the course is certified by Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, following a recently signed protocol with MPI.

The opening ceremony will take place at 10:00 on 11 July at Wui Chi Building Amphitheatre 2.
