Chief Executive Edmund Ho today (24 Oct.) announced that the first Chinese Astronaut Yang Liwei would visit Macao soon and the "Shenzhou V" rocket's re-entry capsule would be exhibited to the public.
Mr. Ho said Yang Liwei would come to Macao after visited Hong Kong. He also said that "Shenzhou V" rocket's re-entry capsule would be exhibited in Macao, although the exhibition date and location was still to be confirmed.
Yang Liwei is the country's first astronaut, was on board the "Shenzhou V" spaceship, returned from orbit after traveling in space for 21 hours, encircled 14 times around the earth.
