Zeng Qinghong Visits Landmarks of Macao SAR

Vice-President Zeng Qinghong visited today (18 Oct) the Ruins of St. Paul Church, the Macao Museum, the Monte Fort (Fortress Hill) and the Macau Tower.

Zeng Qinghong and the Central Government Delegation were accompanied by the Chief Executive, Edmund Ho and The Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Chui Sai On.

Mr. Zeng Qinghong listened to the briefings by the Director of the Cultural Institute during his visit at the Ruins of St. Paul Church, the Macao Museum and the Monte Fort.

Zeng Qinghong was greeted by residents and tourists during the visit and he shakes hand with some of them and held a baby in his arms. He said that Macao was fine, quiet and tranquil.

After the Monte Fort, the Vice-President visited the Macau Tower and took a view over Macau and neighbouring region from the 58th floor of the tower.

When asked about the progress of the Cross-border Industrial Zone, Zeng Qinghong said that the project was progressing smoothly.
