Zeng Qinghong urged Macao People to value the achievements gained after the reunification and to endeavour for greater success.

Vice-President Zeng Qinghong this morning met with MSAR principal officials, MSAR members of NPC, CPPCC and local community leaders.

He quoted a remark that Ma Man Kei made at the national day celebration in 1954, which emphasized that unison was needed for continued success.

Zeng Qinghong said that the success of Macao in the four years after its reunification with the motherland, such as stable social order, continues economic growth and the well being of the residents, should be valued.

He urged all people of Macao to unite and endeavour for the betterment of Macao, just as the whole country was in unison and strived for development.
