Macao to Boost Cooperation of Tourism with HK

At the invitation of Hong Kong SAR Government, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Chui Sai On will lead a delegation to Hong Kong tomorrow (22 Sept) to step up bilateral cooperation of tourism industry.

Secretary Chui will meet with Stephen Ip, the Secretary for Economic Development and Labour of Hong Kong, to discuss the future development of the industry and tourism products.

They will also share views about the cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, so to prosper the regional tourism market.

For years, Hong Kong has been one of the biggest markets of Macao’s tourism industry. Last year, the territory supplied over 5 million tourists to Macao.

In recent years, the development of regional tourism market has benefited Macao and Hong Kong.
