The Health Bureau today (20 April) announced that their staffs would continued to take the body temperature of arrivals at Macao after the Easter Holiday.
According to the press release, the Health Bureau had decided to continue the measure in the aim of maximum protection for the residents
During the Easter Holiday (from Friday to Sunday) more then 20,000 people have had their temperature measured at the Border gate, while over 13,000 and over 1,450 have had their temperature taken at the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and the Macau International Airport respectively.
According to the press release, several people were found to have fever but none was diagnosed as SARS sufferer.
