Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Chui Sai On and the director of National Tourism Administration Ho Guang Wei signed a protocol for tourism on behalf of Macao SAR and the Mainland on Monday.

In line with the protocol, Macao and Mainland will reinforce the cooperation in promotion, training, interchange and information by the following:

1. Free interchanges of tourism documents and writings, especially the magazines and promotional products published by the official.

2. Free interchanges of tourism related information, technologies, statistic figures, etc.

3. Reinforce the cooperation in exhibition and promotion held in a third place.

4. Cooperate in holding professional trainings in the area of tourism.

5. Cooperate in holding tourism courses, seminars, visits and conferences.

Meanwhile, the two parties decided to hold working meeting every quarter to evaluate the result of the cooperation and to probe into the feasibility of cooperation in new tourism items.
