President of Republic of Estonia, Lennart Meri, arrived in Macau for a two-day visit and met with Chief Executive, Edmund Ho today at the headquarters of the SAR government.

Mr. Ho received Mr. Meri who accompanied by the directors of Economy and Traffic and Transportation at the headquarters.

Mr. Meri arrived in Macau after his visit to the mainland. Meri had met with President Jiang Zemin and President of the National People's Congress, Mr. Li Peng in Beijing.

During his visit in Macau, he visited some scenic spots and tourism facilities in Macau. Mr. Meri and the delegation left for Hong Kong on 8th March.
