  • There are 50 automated channels inbound and 50 automated channels outbound to Zhuhai, for traveller-clearance procedures. Additionally, there are two staffed counters in each direction. Vehicle clearance services are not available via the Qingmao Checkpoint.

  • People that have either Macao ID, mainland ID or permanent Hong Kong ID, and who have already registered to use the automated clearance channels for boundary-crossing journeys – as operated under the “Joint Inspection and One-Time Release” principle – can opt to use the Qingmao Checkpoint.

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, travellers are requested to present for inspection their online declaration of personal health, as required under the Macao Health Code system, and a valid certificate for a nucleic acid test that proves they are ‘negative’ for COVID-19 infection.

  • There is a total of 16 bus routes in Macao that offer access to the Qingmao Checkpoint.

  • The Qingmao Checkpoint – the fifth land-based crossing point between Macao and Zhuhai in Guangdong Province – improves the convenience of travel links between the two cities.

  • The new checkpoint is designed to support the nearby Border Gate Checkpoint, by offering overflow capacity.
