During the summer holidays, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) presents a series of exciting family activities. In order to enhance the synergy of the cultural activities, and in conjunction with the “Where Culture Flourishes, Happiness Happens” – “MICAF Fun Day” Arts Carnival, integrated in the 3rd Macao International Children’s Arts Festival, and the “Art Everywhere – Cultural Vibes at the Weekend” event, a special stamp collection activity will be launched, encouraging children and adults to participate in various artistic and cultural activities and collect stamps for a lucky draw at the Macao Cultural Centre Plaza and the Anim’Arte NAM VAN. A variety of prizes will be available, and all are welcome to participate and enjoy wonderful family moments this summer.

The “MICAF, MICAF, Where Are You?” stamp collection activity is held from today until 30 August, Fridays to Sundays, during the “MICAF Fun Day” Arts Carnival (Fridays to Sundays, from 4pm to 10pm) and the “Art Everywhere – Cultural Vibes at the Weekend” event (Fridays, 6pm to 9pm; Saturdays and Sundays, 4pm to 10pm). Stamp collection points will be set up at the “Information counter” in the Macao Cultural Centre Plaza and in the “10 minutes of Reading” activity area at the Anim’Arte NAM VAN.

Participants can take photos with “MICAF” decorations at the activity venues, check in and upload them to social media to receive a stamp on their collection card. Those who collect two stamps from different venues will be eligible to participate in the lucky draw and stand a chance to win fabulous prizes. The public lucky draw will be held at 9pm on 30 August at the “MICAF Fun Day”. Participants will have the opportunity to win round-trip tickets sponsored by Air Macau and electronic consumption vouchers sponsored by Bank of China, limited-edition skateboards sponsored by Fanta, and “Wandering in a Parallel World” plush toys co-presented by MGM and IC. The list of winners will be announced on the “IC Art” page on Facebook.

The “MICAF Fun Day” Arts Carnival will be held from 28 to 30 August, Fridays to Sundays, from afternoon to evening, at the Macao Cultural Centre Plaza. Registration for some activities, including “Backstage Adventures”, “Water Party”, “Water Fun Park”, “Foam Party” and “Kid’s Reading Fun share” can be made from 3pm on 26 August through the Macao International Children’s Arts Festival website (www.icm.gov.mo/micaf). Limited seats for on-site registration will also be available and distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis. From July onwards, the “Art Everywhere – Cultural Vibes at the Weekend” event is held at the Anim’Arte NAM VAN on the evenings of Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, offering various performances and stalls of cultural and creative products, incorporating innovative elements to create a pleasant and fun summer leisure space for residents at different times.
