The Chief Executive, Mr Edmund Ho Hau Wah, and the Macao delegation are continuing with their official visit to Brazil, arriving in the city of Manaus on 23 June (Brazil time) where they met the Acting Governor of the State of Amazon, Mr Arnaldo Campelo Carpinteiro Peres.

In the same evening, the delegation attended a banquet hosted by Mr Peres.

On the morning of 24 June, the delegation visited a number of tourist spots in Manaus including the River Negro, the Amazon River, and Victoria Lake, before leaving for Rio de Janeiro in the afternoon.
