The Chief Executive, Edmund Ho today (9 Dec) briefs Premier Zhu Rongji on the SAR Government's policy plan 2003 on the first day of his visit to Beijing.
Edmund Ho also reported to Premier Zhu on the the SAR Government's work in the last year.

Topics discussed in the meeting also included joint developments plans between Macao and Guangdong province in the Pearl River Delta, including the cross border industrial zone and the Hong Kong-Macau-Zhuhai Bridge.
In response to media enquiry, Edmund Ho commented on the plan of the bridge before departing from Macao this morning: Macao is very supportive to any project that contributes to the overall transport network in the Pearl River Delta, said Edmund Ho, and the project would likely be carried out finally, yet it is necessary to consider the opinion and interest of all parties involved.
Edmund Ho will be received by Vice Premier Qian Qichen tomorrow and on Wednesday meet with President Jiang Zemin and Vice President Hu Jintao.
