Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah today said that he will visit European Union (EU) in the mid of the year, although the date had not been confirmed yet.

Mr. Ho talked about his visiting plan before his departure for Beijing to attend the closing ceremony of the Fourth Session of the Ninth National People's Congress (NPC).

He explained that the leaders of EU and Macau Special Administration Region are still discussing the agenda, he will probably visit EU in the mid of June or July. Mr. Ho added that the trip will last for a week which he will visit the EU headquarters and Belgium.
