  • Camões Garden is one of the oldest parks in Macao. The park’s entrance is framed by a flight of stairs leading to a fountain featuring a 6-metre-tall bronze sculpture titled “Embrace”. The sculpture was placed in Camões Garden in 1996 as a celebration of the ties of friendship between China and Portugal.

  • An undulating path leads to Camões Grotto in Camões Garden. The grotto houses a bronze bust of the famous Portuguese poet Luís de Camões. Legend has it the writer wrote part of his epic poem “The Lusíadas” inside the grotto.
