The Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM) is a focal point for training talent in the tourism sector. IFTM’s Educational Restaurant helps to train students enrolled either on hotel management, tourism event management, or culinary arts management programmes.

Pousada de Mong-Há serves as a training unit of IFTM, providing respectively, a simulated learning environment in hotel operations and a practical one, where students can gain hands-on experience and acquire skills such as handling hotel-reception work, through interactions with actual guests.

IFTM offers students diverse training and practical opportunities with the aim of cultivating their skills in a comprehensive manner, and equipping them with the professional knowledge required in the tourism industry.
