The Government of the Macao SAR is informed by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong that, the Indonesian Minister for Justice and Human Rights has amended the relevant law of entry and stay on 19 September 2001. Holders of the Macao SAR Passports are granted visa-free access to the Republic of Indonesia for max. 28 days for tourism, social cultural and business visit. This visa-free stay could not be extended.

Nationals of the Republic of Indonesia have been able to enter the Macao SAR without a visa.
