The Chief Executive, Edmund Ho emphasized today that Macao should be more open to the international market as we are looking for new market slots.

Edmund Ho attended the spring banquet of the Macao Chamber of Commerce today when he urged the local business sector to take a ride on the uprising flow in the economy, as a new phase in the leading industry is to be unfold this year following the liberalization, introduction of advanced management and competition in the industry.

He also urged the local entrepreneurs to make plan for prolonged development and to carry them out with determination, emphasis on quality and ideas and constant reviews on the situation.

He emphasized that Macao should be more open to the international capital and talents, to provide better environment for foreign investments, to encourage more international enterprises to set up office in Macao and more international conferences to be held in Macao.
