The Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Mr. Li Ruihuan starts his four-day visit in the Macau SAR on Tuesday (7 Jan).
Accompanied by the CPPCC Secretary-Genera Zheng Wantong, Vice Secretary-general Li Changjian and the Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, State Council, Mr. Xu Ze, Li Ruihuan arrived at the Macao International Airport this afternoon at 5:50.
The Chief Executive, Edmund Ho, CPPCC Vice Chairman, Ma Man Kei and the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the MASR, Bai Zhijian greeted Li Ruihuan upon his arrival at the airport.
Also greeting Li Ruihuan at the airport were the President of the MSAR Legislative Assembly, Susana Chou; The President of the MSAR Court of Final Appeal, Sam Hou Fai; Sacretaries and principal officials of the MSAR Government: Florinda Chan, Francis Tam Pak Yuen, Cheong Kuoc Va, Fernando Chui Sai On, Ao Man Long; the Commissioner against Corruption, Cheong U; the Commissioner of Audit, Fatima Choi Mei Lei; The Chief Public Prosecutor, Ho Chio Meng; the Commissioner General of the Unitary Police Service, José Proenca Ló Branco; the Director-General of the Macao Customs, Chôi Lai Hang; the Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the MASR, Mr. Wan Yongxiang; the Commander of the Macau Garrison of the People's Liberation Army, Liu Lianhua; and community leaders.
Li Ruihuan waved greetings to those welcoming them at the airport and was presented bouquets by two children before departing for the hotel at the company of Edmund Ho and Bai Zhijian.
Later this evening, Li Ruihuan will attend the welcoming banquet host by the SAR Govrnment.
