The Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Chui Sai On, is to head a 16-member delegation tomorrow (8 August) to visit the United States.

The accompanying delegation includes the President of the administration committee of the General Office for Civil Affairs, Lau Si Io, the Director of Health Bureau, Kui Kuok Ieng, the Director of Government Tourism Office, Costa Antunes, the Rector of Macau Polytechnic Institute, Lei Heong Iok, the president of Institute For Tourism Studies, Vong Chuk Kwan and the representatives from Macao Customs Service.

Apart from observing the gambling industry and facilities in Las Vegas, the delegates will also meet with the representatives from tourism, civil affairs, health sector, universities and customs in Las Vegas to exchange opinions and to understand the management and operation of the above fields. Following the visit in Las Vegas, the delegates will visit some famous convention centers in San Francisco.
