More than half of the registered voters have voted in the direct and indirect election for the Legislative assembly.
Up to the closing of polling station at 8:00 p.m., a total of 83,619 registered voters have voted in the direct election, which came to a rate of 52.32%.
Among the seven areas, Taipa has the highest vote rate (60.9%), besides, rates in the the other areas are : Coloane(58,74%)/; Sã/;o Lá/;zaro (55,39%)/;Sé/; - 54,20%/; Sã/;o Lourenç/;o(54,16%)/; Stº/;. Antó/;nio (52,06%)/; Nª/;. Srª/;. Fá/;tima (49,44%).
For the Indirect Election, 2,224 legal person voters (65.12%) have voted in the four colleges. the highest vote rates were recoded in the college of labour interests (80.76%), the following ups are: professional interests (69.51%), employer interests (69.03%) and Charity, Cultural, Educational and Sport interests (61.56%).
There are 27 seats in the second Legislative Assembly of the Macau SAR, of which 10 are directly elected and 10 are indirectly elected, the Chief Executive will nominate the remaining seven within 15 days after being notified of the results of the election.
