During 25th September to the noon on 28th, there is a total of 454 serviced persons, including 351 male and 103 female, in the Temporary Shelter of Social Welfare Bureau located at Rua Leste da Ilha Verde, Edifício do Bairro da Ilha Verde. Among them, the largest number of serviced persons reached 164 persons a day, mainly were the employees who originally lived in Mainland China.
In refer to the need for accommodation, Social Welfare Bureau has temporarily expanded the numbers of beds from 100 to 171. Due to the limit of public resources, Social Welfare Bureau appeals employers to provide accommodations for foreign workers if possible, work together to deal with the epidemic.
