Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Mr. Li Peng Expressed his new years wishes to the SAR and the residents.

Accompanied by the Chief Executive, Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Mr. Li Peng visited today (16 Feb.) a number of tourist's spots in the SAR.

During the visits, Mr. Li Peng expressed his new years wishes to the residents of the SAR and a bright future for the SAR under the leadership of the Chief Executive.

When asked about his opinion in the Chief Executive, He said that he would give a full mark if he were to evaluate the work of the Chief Executive.

Mr. Li Peng visited the recently opened Macau Tower located beside the Nam Van Lake in the afternoon/; Mr. Li took a view over Macau and neighboring region from the 58th floor of the tower.

Mr. Li Peng also visited the Hac Sa (Black Sand) Beach in the Coloane Island and the House Museum in the Taipa Island later in the afternoon.
