The Government had received the final report and appendixes of the consultation paper on the study of Macau's healthcare system, said Mr. Kui Kuok Ieng, the new director of the Health Department.

Mr. Kui said at his swearing in ceremony that the authority would start collecting public opinions from different sectors as soon as the translation of the consultation paper and the appendixes were finished, adding that an ad hoc committee would be set up to follow the process.

The consultation paper on the study of Macau's health system consists of 300 pages and 4 appendixes on particular subjects, namely report of general opinions/; general report of the development of traditional Chinese medical practice/; financial report and modification and amendment on medical legislations.
