A delegation would visit America on invitation of the United States to observe the management of gaming industry, Chief Executive Edmund Ho disclosed today (25th).
The delegation of eight members included legislators from legal sector and officials who participate in the monitoring of gaming industry in Macau.
Mr. Ho emphasized that the delegation was not under assignment of the SAR Government.
He disclosed that the invitation was addressed through the consulate general of the United State to Hong Kong and Macau, adding that the visit enables the participants to have a better understanding of the gaming industry in foreign countries.
In response to enquiries on the report of the liberalization of gaming industry, the Chief Executive said that the second phase was basically finished and the third phase, which involves the future legislative framework of gaming industry of Macau, was being proceeded.
