In this photograph, work can be seen in full swing for the new urban reclamation zone known as Area C. It is located off the current shoreline, parallel with Avenida do Oceano, in Taipa. The reclamation zones known as Area E1 and Area E2 are also located in Taipa, but in the northeastern part.
