  • Happy Farm is near Hac Sá Park in Coloane. It covers 23,000-square-metres and is managed by the Municipal Affairs Bureau.

  • Happy Farm acts as a multifunctional outdoor classroom for city dwellers to learn about and experience farming; enjoy other forms of outdoor activity; and be close to nature. This is all with the aim of encouraging people to lead an eco-friendly lifestyle.

  • Happy Farm grows in aggregate about 300 species of flowers and trees, supplying them for Macao’s urban greening efforts.

  • There are also climbing plants at Happy Farm.

  • Happy Farm seeks to promote urban recycling, by making good use of resources, such as kitchen organic waste, and using them to assist in environmental greening. The facility’s efforts also assist soil and water conservation.

  • Since the Municipal Affairs Bureau reorganised use of adjacent land, the number of farming patches available at Happy Farm has increased from 70 to 150.

  • The farming patches are available for rent by members of the public, at 250 patacas for four months.

  • Happy Farm is a good place for family activities outdoors, and learning more about the mother nature.
