  • The Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government strives to provide a diversity of specific services aimed at enriching the lives of senior citizens within the community. To realise its policy objectives, the Government – with cooperation from non-governmental organisations – has a number of programmes to encourage the elderly to engage with society as a whole.

  • This photograph shows one of a number of activities hosted by the Government to celebrate Macao Senior Citizens’ Day 2019. Government aspirations for the activities include that they help old folk to acquire new knowledge and skills as well as new interests, in order to enrich their lives.
