  • The Handover Gifts Museum of Macao is located at the Xian Xing Hai Avenue, next to the Macao Cultural Centre. The Museum displays gifts from provinces across the nation in celebration of Macao’s return to China.

  • Construction of the Museum began in march 2003, and was completed in October 2004. It was inaugurated in December 2004, marking the 5th anniversary of Macao’s Handover.

  • The three-storey Museum is divided into a lobby, an exhibition hall on the first floor and an auditorium on the second floor.

  • The Museum displays gifts from the State Council, provinces, provincial-level municipalities, autonomous regions and the Hong Kong SAR.

  • Visitors can use the QR codes provided on the display panels to learn more about the exhibits.

  • Every exhibit is distinguished by the unique character of their place of origin, attracting the eyes of visitors.
