The Main Storage Reservoir area, near the Outer Harbour, includes a walking circuit that can be used for either strolling or running, as well as recreational facilities for exercising.

The walking circuit covers 2,400 metres from start to finish. The Government made a number of improvements in 2018, including expanding the walk, resurfacing the circuit, and planting extra trees.

The Government has also either installed extra fitness facilities, or renewed existing ones; and added extra seating made of wood. The moves were in recognition of the popularity of these outdoor fitness facilities with members of the public.

There is a 5-metre high ‘tree pavilion’ in the　walking circuit. Six banyan trees form the pavilion, which is fashioned in the Chinese traditional architectural style.

The walking circuit includes zones with a pleasant green environment.
