The Patane Municipal Market Complex has been in use since March 2018 after reconstruction work on the site of the old produce hall. It has transformed Patane’s market into a 13-storey building with a number of community facilities.

The Patane Municipal Market Complex has community facilities including an activity centre, offices for Government departments and a public car park, as well as a wet market.

Fish, meat, vegetables and dried foods are available at stalls located on, respectively, the ground floor, the first floor and the second floor.

There is an aggregate of 92 stalls in the ground floor of the Patane Municipal Market Complex, selling mainly fish and other seafood.

The Patane Municipal Market Complex has lifts for cargo and for passengers, providing convenient access for people moving between various floors.

Seafood products purchased in the market can be cooked at food stalls on the second floor.

The third to seventh floors are dedicated to public parking, providing a total of 116 spaces for light vehicles and 194 spaces for motorcycles.

On the ninth floor of the building, there is a 1,400-square-metre activity centre open for use by the public.

There is a number of services available at the activity centre, such as provision of newspapers and magazines as well as computers for use by the public.

A facility dedicated to senior citizens includes massage equipment and places to watch television.
