Hosted by the Macao SAR Government, the 2018 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition (2018MIECF) is being held from 12 to 14 April.

The 11th edition takes the theme “Shaping of Eco-Cities for Inclusive Green Economy”. Having an expo floor area of more than 16,900 square metres, 2018MIECF attracts more than 490 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions.

MIECF assists enterprises to find suitable partners through its matching services and networking sessions. There is a protocol signing centre for businesses to ink their cooperation on-site.

Procurement representatives of governmental departments and professional buyers – from neighbouring cities and places covered in the “Belt and Road” initiative – are invited to Macao, to gain latest insights for addressing highly polluting products and those have pressing demand for eco-friendly technology.

“Green Building Industry Networking Session” is organised during 2018MIECF to enable regional exchange of latest technology, information and business opportunities.

“Showcase Area for Green Transportation” features a number of options for sustainable transportation.

“Green Public Day” on Saturday (14 April 2018) is admission free, aiming to promote a green and low-carbon lifestyle via family games, workshops and showcase sessions.
