The MSAR Government continually promotes public legal awareness through different channels. The Legal Affairs Bureau organised the "Family Legal Awareness Series" starting from 2022. By recruiting parents and children from different families to serve as volunteers, the Government hopes to improve public legal awareness and create a good environment governed by law through organising different activities.

With the assistance of staff from the Legal Affairs Bureau, activities are conducted through parent-child interaction. Parents guide their children to understand Macao laws and integrate the legal concepts of learning, knowing and abiding by the law into family education.

The Legal Affairs Bureau also organised and established a legal popularisation team consisted of teen volunteers back in 2006, with the goal of "knowing the law, popularising it, and helping others." So far, more than 400 team members have been trained.

Teen recruits receive a series of training through public legal awareness activities. While improving their legal knowledge, they can also learn the skills required for legal popularisation such as serving as emcee and event planning. After completing the training, they will participate in various legal popularisation work organised by the Legal Affairs Bureau.

In order to effectively use new media to expand public legal awareness channels, staff members of the Legal Affairs Bureau shoot various legal popularisation video clips from time to time to explain legal issues closely related to the public in a concise and easy-to-understand way.

The Legal Affairs Bureau has launched the "Public Legal Awareness" programme in audio form since 2021, taking the lead in adding human voice navigation to a series of articles on the constitutional documents, so that the public cannot only read the law with their "eyes", but also listen to it with their "ears".

The Legal Affairs Bureau continues to hold public legal awareness talks for different audiences, including explaining the marital property system to future spouses, which is held every month.
