6th meeting between Mainland and Macao security forces

Mainland and Macao public security authorities recognized in their 6th meeting they have achieved outstanding results in their work and cooperation for almost three years.

The delegations of the Ministry of Public Security and Secretariat for Security of the Special Administrative Region of Macau met from 2 to 3 December, in Macao.

The Assistant Minister for Public Security, Zhu Entao, and the Secretary for Security, Cheong Kouc Va, headed respectively Mainland and Macao delegations.

During the meeting, they reviewed the work performed since previous meeting and analyzed updated reports on public order from both sides.

Meanwhile, they discussed the reinforcement of cooperation in the aspects of fight against money laundering, terrorism and cross border crime and promote technical and professional exchange.

At the end, both delegations recognized that the efforts on jointly fighting criminal activities have contributed to a sound public order environment for social and economic development in both Macao and Mainland.

The previous meeting between Macao and Mainland police authorities took place last May in Beijing.
