The Civil Protection Operations Centre initiates full operations from 8.30pm, in order to coordinate the city's effort in response to Typhoon Higos.

The Secretary for Security, Mr Wong Sio Chak; the Director-General of the Macao Customs Service, Mr Vong Man Chong; and the Commissioner-General of the Unitary Police Service, Mr Leong Man Cheong, receive a briefing at the Civil Protection Operations Centre regarding the city's response for Typhoon Higos.
