The Seac Pai Van Activity Centre – managed by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau – is the Bureau’s first activity centre planned for the islands district. The Centre, located on the 6th floor of the community services complex at Seac Pai Van on Coloane island, has a total area of 2,500 square metres.

The Centre encompasses several facilities, including reading zones. About 10 daily newspapers in Chinese, Portuguese and English language, and more than 20 magazines are available to members of the public at these reading zones.

The Centre also features designated study zones, allowing individual or collaborative study in a quiet environment.

The Centre has a membership scheme: some of its facilities are for the exclusive use of members. The Centre has available a total of 12 computers for its members to use.

A children’s playground at the Centre offers educational play equipment and table games, including toys, building blocks and board games. The playground allows parents to participate in fun activities with their children.

Senior citizens that register as members of the Centre can enjoy a dedicated facility fitted with massage equipment. The room also offers television for the enjoyment of senior citizens.

Members of the Seac Pai Van Activity Centre can book multifunctional rooms for a number of activities, including singing and dancing.

Want to practice table tennis? The Centre has two tables for this sport; users can borrow equipment such as rackets and balls from the Centre.
