The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre (hereinafter referred to as “the Centre”) states that in response to Typhoon “Kompasu”, the deadline for High-Frequency NAT Programme will be extended for two days to 19 October. The testing services at Macao Forum and Macao Federation of Trade Unions Workers Stadium will be extended to 12:00 midnight accordingly, until the end of the of testing programme.

Besides, individuals who were unable to undergo testing yesterday (13 October) as a result of the typhoon may make a new booking within two days, or visit the scheduled location at the original timeslot today or tomorrow to receive the test by presenting their original booking QR code.

The Centre reiterates that persons who fail to undergo testing on the specified date due to individual circumstances may make up for it on the next two days; only when they have missed two tests in a row will their health code turn yellow. The authorities will not assign a yellow health code to those who delayed testing because of the typhoon.

The target populations of the High-Frequency NAT Programme include three groups of workers (namely, renovation workers, laundry workers and security guards) and two nationalities (namely, Nepalese and Vietnamese non-resident workers). Such individuals are required to get tested every other day for 4 times continuously. They can choose to have their samples collected at five regular testing stations (namely, Pac On Ferry Terminal, Macao Forum, Kiang Wu Hospital, the University Hospital, and the Macao Federation of Trade Unions Workers Stadium), or ten special sampling sites (namely, Grand Lisboa, Sands, Venetian, Wynn Macau, Wynn Palace, Broadway, StarWorld, MGM Macau, MGM Cotai and Studio City). All testing sites remain open as usual during Chung Yeung Festival.
