As the pandemic situation remains stable in the Mainland, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) are jointly carrying out promotional activities for the travel and MICE trade in various cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The two entities held Macao tourism and MICE presentation seminars in Guangzhou and Dongguan on 4 and 5 March respectively, joined by members of the travel and MICE trade from Macao, to familiarize their counterparts in both cities with Macao’s tourism situation and “tourism + MICE” initiatives, etc. The seminars also promoted Macao’s image as a healthy, safe and quality destination. Riding on the mission, MGTO attended the 81st Work Meeting of the Tourism Marketing Organization of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Guangzhou.
