The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, is to attend the opening on 10 April of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2018.

Mr Chui will lead a delegation to Hainan Province on 9 to 10 April for the Forum which themed “An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity”. The Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Leong Vai Tac, will attend a panel called “The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”.

While in Hainan, Mr Chui is scheduled to meet officials from provinces and municipalities represented at the Forum.

Members of the Macao delegation will include the Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive’s Office, Ms O Lam; and the Director of the Protocol, Public Relations and External Affairs Office, Ms Lei Ut Mui. 

The Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr Ye Dabo, has been invited to join the delegation.

While Mr Chui is away, the Secretary for Administration and Justice, Ms Chan Hoi Fan, will be Acting Chief Executive.
