Macao and Vietnam strengthen business ties

There is room to enhance trade between Macao and Vietnam, the country’s Prime Minister said here today.

Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, said this when he met with the Chief Executive, Mr Edmund Ho Hau Wah at Government Headquarters.

The Secretary for Administration and Justice, Ms Florinda Chan, greeted Mr Nguyen and his delegation as they arrived on their one-day official visit.

The delegation also attended an inauguration ceremony of a business forum and met with Macao businessmen.

They were seen off by the Secretary of Economy and Finance, Mr Francis Tam Pak Yuen in the evening.
