Registration for 2018 Macao Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon, organized by the Sports Bureau of Macao SAR Government and the General Association of Athletics of Macau and title sponsored by the Galaxy Entertainment Group has received overwhelming response.  After the conclusion of registration for the half marathon category yesterday, the Organizing Committee announced that places for the mini marathon have all been taken up today.   Limited places are currently left for the marathon category,  so interested runners for the marathon category are advised to submit their applications as soon as possible.  Participants can choose to register online via event website http://www.macaomarathon.com, or onsite at the General Association of Athletics of Macau (Stadium of Olympic Sport Centre).

Entities that have completed registration for mini marathon and are interested to compete for the “Active Group Trophy” (categories including schools, sport associations and government registered organizations, and public and private entities) may download the registration form from the event website, which should be filled in with details of participants, and submit via email to macaomarathon@sport.gov.mo or in person to the Sports Bureau by 19 October.

This edition of the marathon will take place on 2 December (Sunday), with the start and finish both located inside the Stadium of the Olympic Sport Centre.  Participants of the marathon and half marathon will start at 6:00 am, while those of the mini marathon will start at 6:15 am.
